With the rising problem of American's becoming homeless it is effecting more than our economy. As future educators we have to realize the different problems our students are facing outside of the classroom. Instead of yelling at them for falling asleep in class, not having homework done, or acting out with classmates we need to find out what might be causing this behavior. What you can learn about a student may surprise you.

SEDU Reflection
I feel that out of all the tools I have learned about and or used in SEDU Google Docs will be the most useful in the classroom. With this tool children can communicate and work on projects when not in class together. This is very convenient when everyone has different schedules, they still can see what others in the group are working on and add to their group project. This way everyone has to participate and the teacher can keep track of their progress. In my experience with Google Docs I found it very useful and easy to use, overall Google Docs is a great tool.
About me section
My full name is Jocelyn Anne Martson, I am 18 years old and attend Edinboro University as a freshman. I enjoy dancing, acting, singing, and cheering the basic line is I LOVE to Perform. I guess you could say I am quite theatrical. So why am I not in college for performing arts you ask? Well to tell the truth my dream job is to be a performer at Disney. I became interested in teaching because of my enjoyment for children. I started teaching two preschool dance classes last year and loved it. I hope to work in a day care and be a positive role model. The first years are so critical and I want to make sure they have everything they need to succeed. In using this blog I hope it will help me communicate and become better in how it works and what impact it could have on teaching.
